It’s intuitive, but what does it mean, does it even have to mean anything ? When Louise died almost two years ago a part of me wanted the world to STOP turning.It angered and annoyed me that it just kept on turning. Nature and being out in it helped me to accept that this IS the order, continuously revolving.Hence the revolving motion. Life can be complex. Mine has, right from birth. Abuse, wars trauma, acceptance ,resilience and love. It’s been a lot ! Hence the picture “it’s a lot “ life can be a lot, it can be too much. It’s about finding and putting ones life into perspective perhaps! Taking everything down to a minimum. I know one thing for sure about this piece and that is that it’s creation , the process has been healing and cathartic. All my art is painted on reclaimed materials giving new life to something that was discarded.
