This hand made coffee table is composed entirely of plywood off cuts. The pieces are glued together in a herringbone pattern creating a new homogenous solid material. the new up-cycled surface is much stronger than the original material and a stunning end grain pattern is created on its edges. The cuts are all from Purebond, formaldehyde free and FSC-Certified wood. Glue is Titebond lll, waterproof,FDA approved for indirect food contact. Finish 6 coats of satin Minwax Polycrylic and finishing wax. Resists damage from abrasion, scuffing, chipping, water, alcohol and other common household chemicals. Legs are up-cycled vintage, painted a matt black.
